Homemade Oreo Cookies

1 Devils food cake mix

2 Large eggs

3/4 c. Shortening

Mix ingredients until completely combined. Mound dough into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

Move oven racks to bottom position and top position in oven. Preheat oven to 350.

Roll cold dough into small balls. Place small dough balls on pan and place on bottom rack. Bake for 4 min. Then place pan on top rack and finish baking for 4 min.

Frosting

1 - 8 oz. Pkg Cream Cheese

1/4 c. Butter

4 c. Powdered Sugar

2 Tsp Vanilla

After cookies have completely cooled frost and make into sandwiches. You can eat these at room temperature but I prefer them refrigerated. YUM.
